The Yellow House - San Martino in Colle
Part of "Sposarsi in villa". Avalaible for meetings and receptions.
La Casa Gialla, or The Yellow House, is an ancient palace belonging to the Franceschini family since the eighteenth century.
We reach the architectural complex by a staircase that leads to the oratory and it is characterized by the particular articulation of volumes, probably dues to different works of edification. The original house and the annexes are linked to the main palace by a transversal building, where a porch with architraves opens.
The Yellow House, is an ancient manor house of the nineteenth century and it has been recently restored in modern style by Claudio Nardi, an architect from Florence. It is located in San Martino in Colle, and it rises in a favoured position, with an amazing view on the hills of Lucca.
The central hall, with a fireplace, is linked to another L-shaped hall, huge and well lit, in a minimalist style, sober and elegant.
From the glass doors on the staircase we directly overlook on the vast garden in English style, with climbing roses, camellias, wisterias and a centuries-old cedar of Lebanon. Attached to the Yellow House, next to the pedestrian path that leads to the villa, we find a little private chapel, still consecrated and available for intimate cerimonies.
It is the perfect location for receptions, weddings, exclusive parties, wine tastings, enogastronomical lessons, and corporate meetings.
